The brazilian secret service and the World Second War

We seek to present in the paper the Brazilian Secret Service led by Varga´s Political Police in the context of the Second World War, and show how its espionage and infiltration operated in both the Axis and Allied powers. Our analysis starts from the definition of intelligence activity as both a dispute for secrecy and a production of knowledge that expresses the interests of the producers themselves. Such knowledge, as well as the format and modus operandi of the Secret Service at the time are documented in the reserved reports and bulletins produced by the police agency, and analyzed based on the definitions of intelligence proposed here.
